I had this muffler installed on my 2006 VW GTI, and I love it! It sounds awesome with little to no drone in the cab. (I can talk to someone or listen to the radio without having to turn the music up) The thing I love most about this muffler is it lets people know I'm serious! (Posted on 4/20/10)

I bought an 2525 for my 2005 Ion Redline, which is a supercharged 2.0 liter. I also used 2 AR25 resonators in line with it. Along with a Vibrant header/downpipe and high flow cat. The system definitely has a different sound and you won't go sneaking around any parking lots with it. There are a few RPM ranges where it tends to get very raspy, otherwise it is a very deep tone with a lot of rumble. It sound excellent at idle and other than a few rpm ranges it is just a deep sound. But if you get on it when you hit those rpm ranges it will wake the neighbors. Being a straight through design you will hear it for a long ways. I like it but it's a personal choice. If you are putting it on a 4 cyl, I'd recommend hearing one before buying. It is louder than the Magnaflows and Borlas I've heard in the past.

I had a 1996 GMC 3500 Turbo Diesel dully truck. I put the areo in it and wow what a difference. The truck ran smoother and had more power. It also improved the sound of the truck. (Posted on 10/16/09)

"I am a Chevrolet C5/Z06 owner and have made some modifications to my car in the past including adding a Borla Cat-Back 14961 exhaust system to it, but I wasn't happy with the performance increase. I decided I wanted to make a change and installed an Aero Performance Exhaust 2525 car muffler dual system with the ST2535 exhaust tips. The system made my corvette look even better and the performance was amazing. Just by simply changing my exhaust system to the Aero Exhaust System I increase my maximum performance by 52 horsepower over stock. That is compared to a measly 15 horespower increase with the Borla System. Now I am going to put the Aero Turbine 2525 onto my wife´s Chevy Colorado."
